Stephen Lowery

Stephen Lowery is an experienced professional in the Venture and Private Equity sectors, currently serving as the Head of Investor Coverage and Business Development at HSBC Innovation Banking since March 2023. Prior to this, Stephen held similar roles at Silicon Valley Bank from May 2016 to March 2023, where responsibilities included managing relationships with Venture and Growth Equity funds and supporting SVB Capital activities in Europe. Stephen has also been a Partner at Frog Capital Ltd and Ethean Capital LLP, focusing on investments in growth-stage companies, particularly in the IT and Healthcare sectors. Earlier experience includes a Director position at 3i Group, where strategic investments were made in private companies within the IT and Cleantech sectors, and a Consultant role at PA Consulting, advising high-growth firms on technology strategy and development. Stephen holds an MEng in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, earned in 1998.
