Anjana Srinivasan

Anjana Srinivasan is an accomplished executive with over two decades of extensive experience at HSBC, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Control Officer for HSBC Asia Pacific since December 2002. In this role, Anjana leads governance and management of non-financial risks across 19 entities and drives operational resilience initiatives. Previous roles include leading Wealth Model Transformation in the UK, serving as Chief Operating Officer for Global Marketing, and heading Business Risk and Control Management for Retail Banking & Wealth Management. Anjana has a strong foundation in internal controls, having managed large teams and implemented key risk management frameworks throughout HSBC’s global operations. Anjana's career began at Vasan & Sampath Chartered Accountants, where leadership in audits was built. Academically, Anjana is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor's in Commerce, complemented by education at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
