Leon Silva

Leon Silva is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in DevOps and infrastructure engineering. Currently serving as a DevOps Engineer at HSBC since June 2022, Leon supports automation infrastructure on RHEL systems and consults on code solutions. Previously, Leon held roles such as Linux Infrastructure Engineer at Nationwide Building Society, and Unix System Engineer at Premier Farnell, where responsibilities included server administration and troubleshooting. Leon also has experience in application support and technical operations, having worked at Vodafone and BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. Leon's career began at Kcom and Openreach, where roles included service management and help desk support. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Communications and Information Technology from Leeds Beckett University.
