Lynn Mora has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and travel industry. Lynn currently serves as the Managing Director for Peru at HSMAI, where they focus on growing business for hotels and advocating for sustainable hotel revenue growth. Prior to that, Lynn was the Head of CRM & Customer Data at Palmaïefa - The House Of AïA, where they used data to increase hotel reservations and customer satisfaction.
Lynn's previous roles include being a University Lecturer, Thesis Advisor, and Tutor at Postgrado UPC, as well as the Founder, Host, and Community Builder at Travelecto, where they provided tools and courses for the hospitality industry during the pandemic. Lynn also founded and directed Profitalo Group, offering consultancy services in marketing, e-commerce, revenue management, training, and technology for the travel/hospitality industry.
Lynn's experience also includes working as a Marketing Manager at Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas, a Contracting Manager at Hotelbeds, and a Business Development Manager for Latin America at OTA Insight. Additionally, they served as the E-Commerce Corporate Manager at Libertador Hotels, Resorts & Spas and as a Market Associate at Expedia, Inc.
Overall, Lynn has a strong background in hospitality sales, marketing, revenue optimization, e-commerce, and customer data analysis, and has worked with various organizations in the travel and tourism industry.
Lynn Mora has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, where they studied team dynamics, finance, marketing, and hotel revenue. In 2022, they acquired a degree in Business Analytics from The Wharton School, focusing on the field of business. From 2018 to 2019, Lynn pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Universidad de Alcalá, specializing in business administration and management. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Marketing from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas between 2008 and 2015, studying various aspects such as marketing, research, and internet marketing. In 2006, they participated in the TEFL Training Program at Bridge-Linguatec, learning to teach English as a Second or Foreign Language. Additionally, they spent an exchange year at Riverview High School in Western PA from 2001 to 2002.
Lynn Mora also holds several certifications. Lynn obtained a certification in Building OKRs in July 2023 from Section. In May 2023, they earned a certification in Leading Through Change from Section. In March 2023, they obtained a certification in Data Storytelling from Section4. Lynn also completed a certification in Business Analytics: De los datos a la acción from The Wharton School in April 2022. Lynn received a certification in Certified Product Positioning from Section4 in April 2022. In June 2020, Lynn obtained a certification in The New Role of the Educator: Best Practices in Online Education from IE Business School. Furthermore, they have certifications in Managing Teams, Negotiating with Agility, and Design Thinking: Venture Design obtained from LinkedIn in January 2020, October 2019, and December 2016, respectively. Prior to that, they acquired the SQF v6 certification from SGS in November 2009 and the CHIA - Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in July 2017.
