Neville Metcalf

Neville Metcalf has been working in the maritime industry since 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as the Leading Coxswain and Chief Instructor at Hornsea Rescue. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as the Master/Owner at East Coast Skippers Ltd. In 2018, they began working at HST Marine as the Fleet Manager, Operations Manager, and Master <200GT. Neville also worked at ECS Ltd as the Master <200GT available until May 2018. In 2018, they began working at Njord Offshore Ltd. as the Master <200GT. Neville also began working at Surewind Marine Ltd. as the Vessel Superintendent/Offshore Operations Consultant. Additionally, from 2013 to 2018, they worked at SureWind Marine as the Master, contracted by SureWind Marine for special projects, delivery and project mobilisation of new Damen 2610 CTVs to Buttendiek and Borkum Riffgrund. Finally, from 2008 to 2013, they worked at Walraven UK as the UK Fire Protection Specialist/Area Sales Manager North East and Sales Manager North East, UK Fire Protection Specialist Walraven UK.

Neville Metcalf began their education in 2009 at HOTA (Humberside offshore Training Association), where they obtained an STCW degree in Maritime Safety. In 2012, they attended Lowestoft Martime College, where they earned a Master 200gt degree in Maritime Studies. In 2013, they attended Warshash Marine Academy and obtained a Master Mariner degree in GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System).
