Juha Haapasaari

Juha Haapasaari has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Juha is currently the Head of Plant at HT Laser Oy, where they oversee the P&L responsibility of the Tampere factory. Prior to this, they founded Aspen Island Oy, a non-traditional consulting company for production, where they helped clients improve their factory processes. Juha has also served as a Board Member at Proactor Oy. Previously, they held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Plant Director at Tam-Silk Oy, with responsibilities ranging from operations to sales and marketing. Juha also worked as a Factory Manager and Head of Operational Development at Metso, where they successfully improved productivity and safety culture. Before that, they worked at ABB as a Global OpEx Specialist and Production Manager, focusing on operational excellence and overseeing multiple power transformer factories worldwide. Juha also served as a Production Manager at Crimppi OY and as a Production Development Engineer at Ruukki. Juha started their career as a Mechanical Test engineer at Nokia.

Juha Haapasaari completed their education at the University of Oulu from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2018, they attended ABB University for a short-term program and obtained a Lean 6 Sigma Greenbelt certification. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Greenbelt Lean 6 Sigma from the Lean Methods Group, although the specific details of when and where they obtained this certification are not provided.
