Dr.muthukumaran B

Dr. Muthukumaran B has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and IT operations. Dr.Muthukumaran currently holds the position of Vice President Cyber Security at HTC Global Services since February 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Sr. Director and Practice Head - Cyber Security & GM-Training at the same company from May 2012 to January 2022.

Before joining HTC Global Services, Dr. Muthukumaran served as the Head Operations & IT Security in IQ System Technology India Pvt Ltd from September 2011 to April 2012.

Dr. Muthukumaran also held the role of CTO-CSG at Gemini Communication Ltd, where they were responsible for various consulting activities related to biometric UID de-duplication and ITSM gap analysis. Dr.Muthukumaran served in this role from December 2006 to August 2011.

In addition to their corporate roles, Dr. Muthukumaran has also been actively involved in professional organizations such as the Cyber Society of India, where they served as Joint Secretary from December 2006 to August 2011. Dr.Muthukumaran has also contributed to academia as a Prof. Adjunct & Academic Board Member at Smot School of Business from March 2007 to September 2009.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Muthukumaran worked as an Asst. Professor and Senior Lecturer at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, where they were involved in various activities including industry connections, generating new business, and web site design and administration. Dr.Muthukumaran also served as an NCC (army) Officer and taught basic engineering concepts as a Lecturer during their time at the college.

Dr. Muthukumaran has also worked as an IT Consultant in the private sector, specializing in network design and cost optimization. Dr.Muthukumaran has served as a Visiting Prof - Systems at Great Lakes Institute of Management and as a System & Web Administrator at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.

Dr. Muthukumaran B holds a Ph.D from the International University of Contemporary Studies in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, which was obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned an ME degree in Computer Science from Anna University from 2002 to 2004. Dr.Muthukumaran also holds an MCA degree in Computer Applications from the University of Madras, obtained from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, Dr. Muthukumaran B holds an MSC degree in Physics from National College, obtained from 1986 to 1988.
