Jacek Niedzwiecki

Jacek Niedzwiecki has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Jacek started their career in 2006 at Cybercom Poland, where they worked as a Software Engineer, Team Leader, and Line Manager. At Oberthur Technologies, they served as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for implementing a complex payment system using microservices and JVM. Jacek joined Core Services Sp. z o.o. as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on redesigning and re-implementing a reverse-geocoder tool. At Sii Poland, Jacek worked as a Senior Java Engineer, maintaining and adding new features to a complex Tomcat application in the bankruptcy industry. Currently, they are employed at HTD as a Senior Java Software Engineer, involved in the development and maintenance of a microservice-based system in the fitness industry. Jacek has strong expertise in Java, microservices, JVM, SQL databases, and functional programming. Jacek has experience working in agile Scrum teams and using various tools such as Kotlin, Java 11, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Docker.

Jacek Niedzwiecki completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lodz University of Technology between the years 2002 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired various certifications. These include Spring: Spring Data from LinkedIn in September 2018, Learning Spring with Spring Boot from LinkedIn in July 2018, and Spring: Framework In Depth from LinkedIn in July 2018. Jacek also achieved certifications in Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark from Coursera in May 2018, Functional Programming in Scala Capstone from Coursera in April 2018, Parallel programming from Coursera in March 2018, Functional Program Design in Scala from Coursera in February 2018, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in January 2018. Furthermore, they received a Completion Award for Oracle MOOC: Java Virtual Machine Troubleshooting from Oracle in October 2017.
