Selina Gaertner has a diverse work experience ranging from the field of molecular diagnostics to life sciences. Selina has been with HTG Molecular Diagnostics since 2016, starting as a District Manager for Central Europe before progressing to roles such as Medical Affairs Manager for EMEA and then Director of EU Medical Affairs & Marketing. Currently, they hold the position of Director of EU Medical Affairs, Marketing & Customer Support. Prior to their time at HTG Molecular Diagnostics, Selina worked as a Business Development Consultant at Novoptim and as a Junior Research Assistant at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory. Selina also completed a Master's Thesis at the University of Oxford and briefly worked as a Research Assistant at BioVersys AG. Overall, Selina Gaertner has demonstrated a strong background in medical affairs, marketing, and customer support within the molecular diagnostics industry, as well as experience in business development and research in the life sciences field.

Selina Gaertner obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Life Science from the Universität zu Lübeck. Selina attended the university from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Life Science from the University of Konstanz, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their academic background, Selina Gaertner has also obtained several certifications. In March 2019, they completed the Integral Life Coach certification at Life Trust GmbH & Co. KG. In May 2018, they completed the Mastery University program at Tony Robbins Mastery University.
