Amirul Islam

Amirul Islam is a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Huawei, bringing extensive experience in research and development in the field of computer vision. Prior to this role, Amirul served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ryerson University and the University of Manitoba. Additionally, Amirul interned as a Computer Vision Research Intern at Huawei Technologies Canada and Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. Amirul holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Ryerson University, completed in 2022, and previously began a PhD program in Computer Science at the University of Manitoba in 2017.
