Saeid Haghighatshoar

Saeid Haghighatshoar is a seasoned researcher and engineer in wireless communications and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Huawei since September 2024, focusing on wireless algorithm and computing architecture design. Prior to this role, Saeid worked at SynSense as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, specializing in Spiking Neural Networks and their applications in neuromorphic computation. Experience also includes a position as a Senior R&D Engineer at CSEM, where efforts were dedicated to mmWave radar and machine learning solutions for contactless vital signs monitoring. Saeid's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Research position at Technische Universität Berlin, where research encompassed machine learning and its applications to Massive MIMO systems, and a PhD from EPFL, concentrating on information theory and its applications. Saeid's foundational expertise stems from a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in communications systems and electrical engineering, respectively, both from Sharif University of Technology.
