Steve Giovannetti

Steve Giovannetti has over 30 years of experience in the information technology field, specializing in the analysis, design and implementation of distributed multi-tier applications. Steve began their career in 1988 as a Software Developer at Eidetic Knowledge Systems, a division of Elsevier Science Publishing, where they created tools for the codification of visual medical information. In 1992, they became a Systems Analyst at General Logistics International, where they were the lead developer in the Systems and Network Management consulting practice. Steve then moved to Peripheral Devices Corporation in 1993, where they were a Senior Systems Engineer responsible for pre and post sales support of Sun Microsystems UNIX servers. In 1995, they became a Systems Analyst at Union Bank of Switzerland, where they were responsible for architecting and implementing UNIX systems infrastructure to support fixed-income derivatives trading desk, analysts and development staff. In 1997, they joined Bloomberg as a Programmer and Development and Technical Lead for Bloomberg.com, a major financial web portal, where they managed a team of 6 programmers. In 2001, they became a Consultant at Tethys Technology, and in 1999 they founded Hub City Media, Inc., where they have served as the CTO since then.

Steve Giovannetti obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a concentration in Mathematics from Rutgers University between 1983 and 1987. In 2021, they obtained a ForgeRock Identity Cloud Micro Core Skills - Introducing ForgeRock Identity Cloud certification from ForgeRock and an IDPro Member certification from IDPro.
