Rohan Silva has a long and varied work experience. Rohan has been a Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art since 2023. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of Second Home from 2014, Founder of Libreria bookshop from 2016, Co-founder and Adviser of Hubble (formerly Spacious) from 2013, Entrepreneur in Residence at Index Ventures from 2013, Senior Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister at No10 Downing Street from 2010, Senior Policy Adviser for the General Election at the Office of David Cameron / George Osborne from 2010, Economic Adviser to the Shadow Chancellor at the Office of George Osborne from 2006, and Policy Analyst (Fast Stream) at HM Treasury from 2004.
Rohan Silva has a diverse educational background. Rohan obtained a LLB from The University of Manchester in Law from 1999 to 2002. Rohan then attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2003 to 2004, where they received a degree in Politics / Political Philosophy. In 2013 and 2014, they were a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Visiting Fellow at LSE Cities. Additionally, they are an Honorary Fellow at the Royal College of Art.
