John Matten

John Matten has extensive work experience, starting in 2005. John began as a Technical Support Engineer at Volo Ltd, where they were responsible for the installation and support of an onboard entertainment system. John then moved on to intY Ltd, where they held various roles including Technical Support Engineer, Technical Project Manager, and Product Manager. At intY Ltd, they worked on project management, product introduction, and partner onboarding.

In 2015, John joined Hargreaves Lansdown as a Senior Project Manager. John was responsible for managing projects within the company.

In 2018, John joined iPortalis as a Product Manager, and later transitioned into the role of Senior Product Manager and then Product Director. At iPortalis, they were responsible for overseeing product development, presenting product and technology strategies to customers and partners, coordinating product demos, and managing vendor and client partnerships.

Currently, John is the Chief Technology Officer at iPortalis, where they take a customer-centric approach to strategic thinking, manages innovation and priorities, and owns the software product vision of the company.

In 2022, John will be joining hublsoft as the Chief Product Officer, where they will contribute their expertise in product strategy and development.

John Matten has a diverse education history. In 2001, they enrolled at the University of the West of England in Bristol and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computing and Information Systems. John successfully completed their studies in 2005.

In 2008, John attended Parity Training, where they obtained their Prince 2 Practitioner degree in Project Management.

Continuing their educational journey, in 2017, they pursued an APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) at APM, specializing in Project Management. During this same year, they also completed a Level 3 Leadership Management course at the Institute of Leadership Management, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
