Cleo Sham

Cleo is a partner at Stride.VC, a renowned venture investor business. Prior to this, Cleo was an executive at Uber, where she helped build the hugely successful Chinese business from its 2014 infancy to the $35B merger with Didi Chuxing in 2016. She also led Central Operations for Uber EMEA, leading the platformisation of operations across 45 countries.

She was also COO at Spotahome; a Series B proptech backed by Kleiner Perkins. Cleo’s skills also include acting as an angel investor throughout her operating career.

She holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Rice University.
