Paul Fagan

Paul Fagan has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to software testing, automation testing, application support, and technical support.

Paul currently works as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Huboo, where they focus on web testing and follows a "shift-left" approach to software testing. Paul'sresponsibilities include proactive planning, pair planning with developers, and writing test cases.

Prior to that, Paul worked as a Software Tester at Neptune, a furniture manufacturer, where they were responsible for testing and automating API tests, managing UI tests using Selenium, and troubleshooting tests for Dynamics365 Finance and Operation processes.

Paul also has experience working as an Application Support Analyst at SmartStream Technologies, providing support for corporate event lifecycle software. In this role, they managed support tickets, interacted with clients, and ensured solutions were provided within SLAs.

Paul's previous experience includes working as a Support Analyst and Automation Test Analyst at Cegedim Insurance Solutions, a Support Analyst at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, a Developer at Capita, a Service Desk Analyst at Rockpool Digital, and a 2nd Line Support Analyst at Smurfit Kappa.

Paul Fagan attended the National College of Ireland from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems with a focus on Information Technology. Before that, from 2002 to 2004, they studied at Ashfield College in Dublin. Additionally, in April 2012, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level Software Testing certification from the ISEB.
