Mohamed Fareed

Mohamed Fareed's work experience begins in 2020 with a virtual internship at Citi as a Junior Investment Analyst. In this role, they completed various tasks related to investment banking.

In 2020, Fareed also had internships at Absolute Trust Accountants & Advisors as an Accounting Intern and at Virtuzone as a Finance Intern.

In 2021, Fareed worked as an Associate Partner Relations at RitmanPay, where they coordinated with C-suite professionals of banks in Saudi Arabia and secured a strategic partnership with the president of Israel Fintech Association. Mohamed also had a one-month stint as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Pears Capital, where they gained knowledge in M&A, Valuations, Capital Raising, and Investments related to the healthcare and real estate vertical.

Later in 2021, Fareed worked as an Accounts & Audit Executive at Premier Plus Financial Services.

In 2022, Fareed joined Ebury as a Sales Executive/Foreign Exchange Consultant and later promoted to the role of Senior Sales Executive/Foreign Exchange Consultant. Mohamed achieved various accomplishments during their time at Ebury, including winning the best newcomer award, achieving the fastest promotions, and completing $110 million worth of international payments. Mohamed also built a high-volume clientele network in UAE, UK, Hong Kong, and Switzerland.

Fareed's most recent work experience is as a Key Account Manager at Hubpay, starting in 2023.

Mohamed Fareed is currently a Professional Level Candidate at ICAEW, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in commerce with a focus on Accounting and Finance at Curtin University from 2018 to 2020. Their secondary education was obtained at GEMS Education, where they completed high school between 2006 and 2018, specializing in Business/Commerce. In addition to their formal education, Mohamed has obtained certifications in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing from Ebury in November 2021, Data Protection from Skillcast in November 2021, and Bloomberg Market concepts from Bloomberg LP in February 2019.
