Currently, Christine is employed at Wageningen Food Safety Research since May 2023. Previously, Christine served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from January 2019 to January 2023, focusing on microfluidics and chemosensation in C. elegans phasmid neurons. Christine earned a PhD at Sanquin between March 2014 and September 2018, investigating the immunomodulatory mechanisms of intravenous immunoglobulin, specifically the role of IgG glycosylation. Key achievements include collaboration with various research institutions and medical doctors, data analysis, and successful defense of a thesis titled "Expression and function of Fc-gamma receptors; Binding of immunoglobulin G and its glycoforms" on 22 March 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Life Sciences from the same institution, along with earlier studies at Utrecht University and Kalsbeek College.
