Alex Araujo AIA, NCARB, LEED® AP is a highly experienced architect with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities throughout their career. Alex currently serves as a Principal at Huckabee, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Construction & Planning at Comal Independent School District from 2021 to 2023.
Alex's tenure at Huckabee began in 2016, initially as an Associate Principal and then as a Principal. With 19 years of experience, they bring a valuable perspective to the team, having worked on both the client side and as an architect and project manager. Their expertise lies in managing project scope, schedule, and budget, always prioritizing the needs of the clients. Alex also held roles at HPM as a Senior BIM Project Coordinator from 2009 to 2010, Perkins+Will as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2009, Kirksey as an Associate from 1998 to 2007, and PDG Architects as an Intern from 1997 to 1998.
