Jose Escolano

Jose Escolano is the Director Analytics at Hudson Data. Jose has over four years of experience working in data science and big data engineering.

Jose began their career at American Express as a Big Data Engineer/Data Scientist. Jose was responsible for building enterprise class intelligence capabilities and developing descriptive statistic functions on Big Data Hadoop Systems. Jose was also involved in the design, implementation, and performance optimization of Machine Learning algorithms deployed in a Big Data framework for several Business Use Cases.

In 2016, Jose left American Express to join A+E Networks as a Senior Data Scientist. In this role, they designed and implemented production-ready predictive models such as Show Affinity and Recommender Systems for A+E AVOD brands. Jose also developed tools, statistical analysis, and reports that helped SVOD business partners to perform data-driven marketing strategies. In 2018, Jose left A+E Networks to join Hudson Data as the Director Analytics.

Jose Escolano completed a Doctorate in Acoustics and Signal Processing from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Jose also holds an MSEE from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and a BSEE in Acoustics and Image Processing from Universitat d'Alacant. Jose Escolano is also Google Cloud Certified in Google Cloud Certified Professional - Cloud Architect.

They work with Ankur Malik - Director Engineering, Pavan Chitti - Director Engineering, and Xiaoyi Min - Sr. Data Scientist. Their manager is Menish Gupta, CEO & Founder.
