Catherine Connell

Catherine Connell has extensive experience in operations management and retail leadership, currently serving as the National Book Operations Manager at Hudson since April 2017. Previously, Catherine held multiple roles at Barnes & Noble, Inc., from August 2010 to April 2017, culminating in the position of Assistant Store Manager, where responsibilities included leading daily operations of a multi-channel store with annual sales of 8 million and overseeing employee recruitment and training. Catherine began their career at Starbucks, where from September 1994 to July 2010, expertise was demonstrated as District Manager for an 11-store portfolio with annual sales of 8.5 million and as Store Manager, managing operations for stores with sales from $500k to $1 million annually. Catherine holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgia State University and completed Brooks Range Backpacking Prime and Wilderness Survival program at NOLS.
