Pam McLean, Ph.D. is a prominent figure in the field of coaching and leadership development, currently serving as CEO of the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara since 1987. McLean is the author of several influential works, including "Self as Coach, Self as Leader," published by Wiley Press in May 2019, which emphasizes developmental coaching and the holistic approach to personal growth. In 2013, McLean authored "The Completely Revised Handbook of Coaching," which provides an in-depth exploration of effective coaching practices and methodologies for both seasoned coaches and professionals in related fields. Additionally, McLean contributed to the coaching literature with the sixth edition of "LifeForward: Charting the Journey Ahead," published in 2016, which addresses transitional phases in adult life.
