Trudi McCanna

Trudi McCanna is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership development, organizational change management, and human resources. Currently serving as Principal at McCanna Consulting and a Faculty Member at the Hudson Institute of Coaching, Trudi also founded The Why Wait Project in 2023. Previous roles include Director of Strategic Initiatives at Google, where tenure lasted from May 2010 to January 2024, as well as serving as Interim HR Director for Google Search and Assistant and Global Executive Development Director. Prior experience includes positions at OppenheimerFunds as Vice President of Human Resources Relationship Management and at JetBlue Airways as a Leadership Consultant. Trudi's educational background comprises an MS in Organizational Change Management from Fielding Graduate University, a BFA in Drama, and a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
