Avery Cook

Avery Cook has extensive work experience in the insurance and agriculture sectors. They began their career in 1997 at Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC), where they worked as a Manager of Actuarial and Program Readiness until 2010. Avery then joined Aon as the Managing Director of Global Agriculture Analytics, working until 2014. From 2014 to 2020, Avery Cook served as the Senior Vice President of Global Agriculture at Sompo International. Currently, Avery is employed at Hudson Insurance Group, first as a Senior Manager Actuarial from 2020 to 2023, and currently as the Deputy Chief Actuary.

Avery Cook earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Alberta between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, Avery completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Economics at the University of Manitoba, although the specific duration of this program is not mentioned.
