Michael Torgbor

Michael Torgbor is an experienced laboratory technician specializing in plant genetics and R&D at Hudson River Biotechnology since January 2021. Previously, Michael served as a Biotechnology Teaching and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Ghana from May 2014 to July 2015, where responsibilities included assisting senior researchers and conducting tutorials for crop science students. Earlier experience includes a role at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission in tissue culture, focusing on media preparation and improving tissue culture techniques. Michael holds a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences (2018-2020) and another Master's degree in Biology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2015-2017). Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Ghana (2010-2014) and completed secondary education in Agricultural Science at Achimota Senior High School (2006-2009).
