Alankar Sharma

Alankar Sharma currently serves as HPC Research Network Architecture at Hudson River Trading, starting in November 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Architect, Sr. Director of Network Security Architecture at Salesforce from October 2021 to October 2023, where leadership encompassed networks and security for major multi-cloud datacenters, implementing Defense in Depth and Zero Trust strategies. At Comcast NBCUniversal, Alankar held positions culminating as Sr. Principal in Datacenter Networks, architecting multiple generations of national and regional datacenter networks supporting over 50 million customers from July 2009 to October 2021. Prior roles at ADP involved leading the networking teams for the ADP brokerage network, while initial experience at AT&T focused on designing customized network solutions for large enterprise clients. Alankar holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School (2022-2024), an MS in Computer Engineering from Drexel University, and a BE in Electronics & Communication from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology.
