Joiashanti Watkis

JoiAshanti Watkis is an experienced media professional currently serving as an Associate Producer at Hueman Group Media since May 2023, working on projects such as "Inclusion Begins with Me: Conversations that Matter" and "Say More with Tulaine Montgomery." Previous roles include Casting Assistant for FX's "Adults" and the TV pilot "Snowflakes," as well as Founder of Joiful Castings. JoiAshanti's experience extends to producing and editing for Sharecare, where responsibilities included creating video outlines and managing YouTube content. Additional experience includes work as a Writer, Director, and Producer on the short film "Empathy," Assistant Editor on the docuseries "Obstruction of Justice: The True Meaning," and various roles in casting for CBS Studios and TLYNT. JoiAshanti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Hofstra University, along with certificates in Digital Filmmaking from Orange-Ulster BOCES and Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts.
