What you’ll be doing

  • Provide strategic direction, leadership and mentorship to a team of Designers, ensuring the craft is leveling up the work. 
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing feedback and support to help them grow and up-skill within visual and product design.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting teamwork, creative collaboration, and professional growth across all aspects of the creative process.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and concept development meetings, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that integrates both production and conceptualization.
  • Strive to produce visually stunning work that captivates audiences and elevates the brand's presence in the design market space.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives, and develop creative solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Oversee the studio's daily operations and project deliverables ensuring the highest standards of craft excellence. 
  • Review and approve all creative work before final delivery, ensuring that it meets quality standards and client requirements in terms of visual and product elements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry design trends and innovations, and implement new processes and technologies to improve workflow efficiency across visual and product domains.

What we would like to see

  • Around 12+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within an agency or studio environment, demonstrating studio and creative production management, supported by a solid background in visual and product  design.
  • Proven track record of managing and inspiring a team of creatives to deliver exceptional work, with expertise in conceptualization and execution of visual and product design.  
  • Strong operational management skills, with the ability to prioritize your team’s workflow tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills that set the tone for optimal client relationship building and team collaboration.
  • A passion for creativity and a drive to push the boundaries of what's possible, coupled with a commitment to producing visually stunning and impactful work that resonates with audiences and drives results.
  • An updated portfolio that stands out, showcasing a diverse range of visual and product design that highlights your ability to innovate and deliver outstanding visual experiences across different platforms and mediums.
