Ahsen Khaliq

Ahsen Khaliq is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning and software development. Currently serving as ML Growth Lead and Machine Learning Engineer at Hugging Face since November 2021, Ahsen has contributed to the development of Gradio and Hugging Face Spaces. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Gradio, and a brief stint as a Software Developer at Runway, where Ahsen ported ML models to the RunwayML platform. Additional experience encompasses a Machine Learning residency at Snap Inc., Computer Vision Research Engineer at Uraniom focusing on generative models and motion retargeting for GIFs, and various analytical and engineering roles at Wells Fargo and UPS. Ahsen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
