Sasha Rush

Sasha Rush is an accomplished Research Scientist at Anysphere since February 2025 and serves as an Associate Professor at Cornell Tech, a position held since July 2019. In addition, Sasha Rush has been a researcher at Hugging Face since February 2020 and previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Harvard University from July 2015 to February 2020. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Facebook, specializing in deep learning research at Facebook Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR), and a Graduate Student role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. During the academic journey, Sasha Rush also contributed as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University and completed a Research Internship at Google, specializing in syntactic parsing. Sasha Rush's professional background also includes a Software Engineering position at Facebook from June 2007 to September 2009.
