Vanessa Hiratsuka

Vanessa Hiratsuka is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health and social services evaluation and research consultation. Currently, Vanessa serves as the Owner of Hiratsuka Consulting LLC and Hey Chickadee, and holds the position of Senior Researcher at Southcentral Foundation, alongside co-Director of Research and Evaluation at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Vanessa has significantly contributed to both research and public health initiatives, including managing NIH-funded projects, coordinating interdisciplinary training programs, and supporting community health evaluations. Vanessa's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Public Health from Walden University, a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
