Ajit Kumar Chalasani

Ajit Kumar Chalasani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in network engineering and management, currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Network Engineering at Hughes since January 1999. Throughout the tenure at Hughes, Ajit has held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Customer Networks and Director of Enterprise Networks, overseeing a team that provides managed network services to diverse industries. Prior to Hughes, Ajit was a Hub Manager at HCL Comnet Systems and Services Limited, where growth from a rookie engineer to managing VSATs for enterprise businesses in India was achieved. Ajit holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, completed in 2004.
