Saumya Sardana

Saumya Sardana is a Senior MTS at Hughes since August 2020, having previously held positions as MTS-3 and MTS-2 Software Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech from January 2019 to May 2020, where Saumya developed C++ code for Tello Drone interaction and taught Microcontroller Programming and Interfacing. Additional roles include working as a Member Technical at iWave Systems Technologies Pvt Ltd., where tasks involved the Altera Arria X board and Linux kernel development, and a Summer Internship at Siemens focusing on computed tomography software for non-destructive testing. Early contributions include research as a Visiting Research Scholar at The Graduate Center, CUNY, developing software for 2D image reconstruction. Saumya holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
