Christina Covin, PMP

Christina Covin, PMP has a long and varied career in project and program management. Christina began their career in 2001 as a Regional Liaison for MortgageIT, Inc., where they were responsible for loan operations for the largest correspondent lending region in the country. In 2006, they took on a variety of interim, contract, and project work, including at Capital One Home Loans and First NLC Financial Services, LLC. From 2008-2011, they held the position of Quality Assurance Specialist at SoftPro and Quality Assurance Analyst at XS, Inc. In 2012, they became a Project Manager at PMAC Lending Services Inc. and, in 2013, a Business Analyst at Cisco (via Ettain Group). From 2014-2021, they were the Owner and Independent Consultant at Covin Consulting, LLC, an Expert at Martellus, LLC, and a Senior Program Manager at HugoWREN Mac Consulting. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for defining scope, ensuring deliverables, project planning, resource management, readiness planning, governance, and managing both budgets and client expectations.

Christina Covin obtained their B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2000. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Agile Project Management & Agile Delivery from Udemy. In 2021, they also obtained a certification as a Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet. Finally, in 2022, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
