Farzan Hasani has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering and technology field. Farzan is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Hul Hub since October 2021. Previously, they worked at Diamond Electric from 2014 to 2021, where they held the position of Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's technology portfolio, overseeing the development of a fully digital platform for electricity retail, and implementing automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Prior to that, Farzan worked as a Solutions Engineer at Diamond Electric from 2014 to 2018, where they were involved in designing, implementing, and testing engineering solutions for the company's projects. Farzan also contributed to the development and optimization of the hardware for the company's Demand Response - Interruptible Load Management System.

Farzan began their career as a Researcher at the National University of Singapore in 2013, where they conducted studies on the use of "electric springs" for demand-side management and voltage regulation. Farzan applied this concept to reduce neutral current in a 4-wire system with unbalanced load.

Before joining the National University of Singapore, Farzan worked as an Assistant Manager at the Karachi Electric Supply Company from 2011 to 2012. Farzan played a key role in implementing the SAP IS-U system, collaborating with consultants in developing billing schemas, and integrating the billing system with the Energy Data Management module.

Farzan's early experience includes an internship at Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company in 2010, where they assisted in various projects related to substation layout drawings, cable calculations, project documentation, and relay testing and simulation.

Farzan Hasani completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology from 2007 to 2011. Farzan then went on to pursue further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2013.
