Joseph Lundquist has held various roles in the field of science since 1996. Joseph began their career as a research assistant at Duke University, where they served until 2002. Following their time there, they took on a postdoctoral fellow role at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences until 2005. Joseph then worked as an immunochemist for Syntherica Corporation for two years before moving on to Catalent Pharma Solutions. At Catalent, they served as a lead scientist for three years before joining Humacyte in 2010. At Humacyte, Lundquist worked their way up to senior scientist, beginning as a scientist II and then a scientist III.
Joseph Lundquist obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas in 1996. Joseph then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry at Duke University from 1996 to 2002. Additionally, they received certification in Biological Chemistry from the National Institutes of Health, although the exact date of this certification is unknown.
