Mark Hacker

Mark Hacker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership development and organizational performance enhancement. Currently serving as Senior Faculty at the Human Capital Institute since 2014, Mark has facilitated over 250 certification courses across various regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia. As Managing Director of Alta Leadership Group since 2010, Mark focuses on aligning talent philosophy with business strategy. Mark's academic contributions as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver from 2011 to 2016 included teaching courses in strategic HR management and serving as a thesis advisor. Mark's lengthy tenure at Walmart from 1988 to 2010 encompassed multiple leadership roles, culminating in directorships responsible for talent development and performance improvement across a large workforce. Mark holds an MA in Organizational Development and Communications and a BA in Communications, both from the University of Denver, with additional professional development experience.
