Tom Quay has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom started their career as a freelance designer in 1997 and later joined Twinwave GmbH as a designer intern. Tom then worked as a designer at Mauve Studio before joining Bournemouth and Poole College as a web developer and projects developer. Tom continued their freelance work as a digital freelancer before founding their own company, Base, in 2008. At Base, Tom served as the Founder/Director. In 2011, they became a visiting tutor at Arts University Bournemouth, where they worked until 2018. In 2015, Tom took on the role of CEO at Passenger Technology Group, where they led a SaaS product business for UK bus and tram operators.
