PHD Student - Human Factors In Aircraft Maintenance With Airbus at Human design Group

Raphael Chirac is an experienced professional in human factors and ergonomics, currently pursuing a PhD focused on human factors in aircraft maintenance at the Human Design Group since November 2021. Prior roles include serving as an ergonomist and human factors engineer at the same organization, along with a junior UX designer position at Faurecia where project work involved integrating user experience within the cockpit of the future. Previous internships at Airbus Helicopters and Medipath included analysis of helicopter crew interfaces and ergonomic assessments, respectively. Academically, Raphael Chirac holds a degree in cognitive sciences from Université Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 and has completed master's studies in ergonomics and cognitive sciences at Aix-Marseille University and Kumamoto University, complemented by an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Cognitique.
