Ilan Shomorony has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Ilan began as a Research Assistant at Cornell University, followed by a Research Associate Intern at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 2011. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley. In 2017, they were a Data Scientist at Human Longevity, Inc. and is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 2018.
Ilan Shomorony received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering/Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2009. Ilan then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2014.
