Julie Chen has had a long and varied career in the medical field. In 2008, they founded Julie T. Chen, M.D. Inc. and served as an Integrative Medicine Physician. In 2009, they founded Making Healthy EZ, where they served as the CEO. In 2013, they were a Medical Advisor for BaseHealth, Inc., and in 2014 they were a Medical Advisor for Douglas Laboratories and the Chief Clinical Officer for Vitagene/1health.io. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Wisdom In Wellness, and is currently the Chief Clinical Officer of Human Longevity, Inc. and the Medical Director of SF HLI.

Julie Chen completed their education history with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Rochester. Julie then went on to receive their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the same university, graduating with Distinction in Research. Following that, they completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at the California Pacific Medical Center in their Internal Medicine Residency Program. Finally, they completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson.
