David Swanson

David Swanson has a diverse work experience. David began their career at NAEYC in 1990, where they served as the Assistant Director of Accreditation and Assistant Director of Membership until 2005. David then joined the Human Rights Campaign in 2005 as the Director of Development and Membership Operations. In 2010, they took on the role of Senior Staff Accountant, Special Reporting at the same organization, before being promoted to Manager of Compliance & Special Reporting in 2022.

David Swanson attended the University of Mary Washington from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. David further pursued higher education at Pepperdine University from 1987 to 1990, earning an EdD degree in Education.
