Alberto Riva

Alberto Riva currently serves as the Head of the National Facility for Data Handling and Analysis at Human Technopole, a position held since March 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Scientific Director of the Bioinformatics Core at the University of Florida Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research from February 2014 to August 2024, alongside roles as Scientist and Associate Scientist. Alberto was also an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida from January 2006 to January 2014, and held the title of Instructor at Harvard Medical School from January 1999 to December 2005, while concurrently working as a Research Associate at Children's Hospital Boston. Alberto Riva earned a PhD in Bioengineering from Università di Pavia between 1993 and 1996.
