Andrea Spitaleri

Andrea Spitaleri is a researcher and assistant professor of physics at BIOMETRA, Università degli Studi di Milano, since September 2023. Additional roles include serving as a reviewer for Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, where expert nomination for Ph.D. candidates is conducted. Spitaleri collaborates with the Neurogenomics department at Human Technopole and has held the position of senior researcher and co-founder at BiKi Technologies since May 2014, focusing on computational drug design and molecular dynamics simulations. Past experience includes scientific researcher roles at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele and IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where simulations of molecular recognition and research on emerging bacterial pathogens were key focuses. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield and a Master's degree in Didactics, Pedagogy, and Psychology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
