Phillip Brannan

Phillip Brannan is an accomplished healthcare operations leader with extensive experience in strategic operational oversight and management within the Medicaid sector. Currently serving as the Regional VP and Chief Operations Officer for Michigan Medicaid at Humana since April 2025, Phillip previously held the position of Vice President of Operations at Birdsong Hearing Benefits, where operational strategies were developed to enhance efficiency and consumer experience. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Aetna overseeing a $650 million Medicaid Health Plan, and Director II of Health Plan Operations at Anthem, where Phillip managed operations for a health plan serving 360,000 members. With a strong background in claims processing, eligibility, and member services, Phillip has demonstrated expertise in driving performance and operational excellence throughout various organizations. Phillip holds an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix and a BBA from Troy University.
