Andrew Platou

Andrew Platou is a CPA and CGMA and began serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the Humane Rescue Alliance in 2014. He currently oversees both the strategic and day-to-day finance and accounting functions of HRA as well as information technology. Andrew has more than 25 years of experience in financial and accounting leadership positions, focusing primarily on not-for-profit organizations. He specializes in the areas of financial planning and analysis, as well as budgeting. His experience also includes public accounting, with an emphasis on audit, accounting, and consulting services. Andrew also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement.
