Katie Arth has an extensive work experience in various organizations focused on animal protection and advocacy. Katie currently holds the position of Director of Global Market Engagement at Humane Society International since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Animal Equality as the International Director of Corporate Outreach from July 2019 to October 2022 and as a Corporate Outreach Manager from September 2018 to July 2019. Before joining Animal Equality, they worked as an ESL Teacher at British School Roma from October 2017 to June 2018. Katie also has experience working at PETA, where they served as a Media Assistant Manager from May 2009 to August 2017, overseeing requests from journalists and conducting research on animal protection issues. Katie started their career as a Development Coordinator at Animal Acres from September 2008 to June 2009.
Katie Arth attended UC San Diego from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
