Savannah Tricomi has a diverse background in animal care and environmental education, currently serving as an Education Assistant and Animal Care team member at the Humane Society of Broward County since May 2019, where responsibilities include supporting summer camps and ensuring the well-being of animals. Savannah interned at the South Florida Water Management District and Loggerhead Marinelife Center during the summer of 2023, gaining hands-on experience in coastal ecosystems and sea turtle nesting. Previously, as an Environmental Educator at IDEAS For Us, Savannah contributed to organizing a fall harvest festival and participated in research and grant writing for non-profits. Savannah began volunteering at the Humane Society in 2014, solidifying a commitment to animal welfare. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Central Florida (2019-2023) and ongoing Master's studies in Environmental Toxicology at the University of South Alabama.
