David Meyer

David Meyer is the current Director at the HUMANE SOCIETY OF MISSOURI. Prior to this, they were with INVISTA from December 2010 to March 2015, where they held the position of Global ERP Director (SAP IT COE). In this role, they were responsible for INVISTA’s existing SAP landscape, including all data warehouse and reporting environments, as well as being the IT leader on a business process transformation program to move from a regional based SAP landscape to a single global environment.

At INVISTA, Meyer was responsible for all IT activities associated with a large scale SAP environment with approximately 6,000 users. This included ECC, SRM, and Plant Maintenance. David was also a key leader on a large scale business process transformation program which included implementing a new global SAP landscape. The new landscape included the following SAP and 3rd party applications: ECC, Transportation Management 9.1, Ariba, Global Trade Services, CRM, APO, Plant Maintenance, Business Warehouse on HANA, and Vistex.

Meyer’s key responsibilities and areas of ownership include the infrastructure, development of custom objects, integration with internal and external partners, security, internal controls, and the future state support approach and implementation.

David Meyer began their educational career at Truman State University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. David continued their education at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they earned a degree in Business Administration.
