Jason Smalridge

Jason Smalridge has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Currently, they hold the position of Software QA Developer at HumanFirst since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Unity from October 2018 to May 2023, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Quality Assurance Tester in Labs, and DevOps & Cloud Developer. Before that, Jason was a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Autodesk from September 2017 to October 2018.

Their professional journey also includes working at McAfee, where they were a Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for developing and maintaining a .NET framework for automation testing from March 2016 to September 2017. Additionally, Jason worked at Yellow Pages Group / Groupe Pages Jaunes – Canada as a Test Automation Developer, where they created and maintained a Python package for test automation from October 2012 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Jason served as the Lead Software Quality Control Tester at Touchtunes Interactive Networks, where they led a team of testers and managed software releases from August 2008 to October 2012. Jason also worked as a Java Programmer at Double V3 and held the position of Web Coordinator at Wapikoni Mobile. Furthermore, they gained experience in digital imaging at the National Film Board of Canada and worked as an Animator at a private company in 2005.

With their extensive background in software engineering, quality assurance, test automation, and development, Jason brings a wealth of expertise to their role as a Software QA Developer.

Jason Smalridge attended Concordia University from 2002 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computation Arts.
